The Belize Bureau of Standards in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) hosted a sensitization session on standards for the Coconut Industry in Punta Gorda Town.
This session held for farmers and processors of pre-packaged natural coconut water and processors of coconut oil highlighted the requirements of the Specification and Code of Hygienic Practice for Pre-packaged Coconut Water and the Specification for Coconut Oil. This is the fourth session held this year.
