The Belize Bureau of Standards (BBS) hereby informs the public that due to the threat of Tropical Storm Lisa, the office has activated its emergency plan. Therefore, the office will be temporarily closed from 12:00 pm today Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 until after the ALL CLEAR has been declared.
However, kindly note that the office can still be contacted via the Consumer Protection Hotline at 0-800-283-5587 or via email at bbs@btl.net.
We encourage you to pay attention to all official advisories from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and the National Meteorological Service of Belize.
