World Standards Day 2021 – 14th October 2021 Theme: Our Shared Vision for a Better World
Today we celebrate World Standards Day (WSD) with the rest of the world under the theme “Our Shared Vision for a Better World”. This year’s theme focuses on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) whereby a persistent global pandemic has revealed the absolute necessity to address the SDGs in an inclusive way to be able to strengthen our societies thereby making them more resilient and more equitable. Today, we are asking you to join us on a mission that affirms the importance of the SDGs to build back better. In this pursuit, standards are more relevant than ever, which is built on a system of mutual collaboration. It is a testament to the power of cooperation and the belief that we are stronger than the sum of our parts. By working together, we are empowering people with real-world solutions to face sustainability challenges head-on. It is in this spirit we are delighted to share this short video.
