BBS Consumer Protection & Liaison Officer, Mr. Rodolfo Gutierrez participated in a two-day workshop on 11 & 12 July 2019 for the Development of the National Marine Litter and Waste Management Policy and Action Plan. This Policy and Action Plan is part of the DOE’s mandate to reduce and control marine pollution; and the commitment and on-going activities of the Ministry with responsibility for the environment to reduce plastic pollution in the marine environment, thus ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all Belizeans.
