The Supplies Control Unit (SCU) in the Belize Bureau of Standards (BBS) through the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Commerce hereby informs all Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Operators/Distributors that according to Regulation 6, (1-5) of Statutory Instrument No 80 of 2019 – Supplies Control (Distribution of LPG) Regulations, which in the first instance requires that existing operators/distributors of LPG shall apply for a provisional permit to sell, distribute or otherwise deal in LPG.
In an effort to consider, expedite and grant provisional permits, Operators/Distributors are encouraged to submit an application form for each of their establishment.

Application forms can be submitted via email at bbs@btl.net with the subsequent hard copy of the application form and its relevant documentation delivered to the BBS Headquarters at Power Lane, Ministry of Works Compound, City of Belmopan, Belize.
