📊 BBS Celebrates Statistics Week 2026!

🇧🇿 On 13 June 2026, the Belize Bureau of Standards (BBS) was pleased to participate in the Public Exhibition hosted by the Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB) in celebration of Statistics Week 2026, under the theme “Harmonizing Data, Strengthening Resilience.”

The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity for the BBS to engage with students from various educational institutions, including primary schools, high schools, and the University of Belize. Through these interactions, the BBS shared information on its mandate, services, and important role in promoting standards, metrology, consumer protection, and quality in Belize.

🏆 We are proud to have received the Student’s Choice Award for Most Engaging Booth! This recognition reflects the enthusiasm and interest of the students who visited our booth and participated in learning more about the work of the BBS.

A special thank you to the Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB) for hosting this meaningful event and providing a platform for institutions to connect with students, share knowledge, and promote public awareness.

The BBS remains committed to educating the public and building awareness of the importance of standards and quality in everyday life.
