How will countries know?
The Agreement requires countries to notify or inform its trading partners of draft standards, TR and CAP’s that it will be introducing. This gives an opportunity for its trading partners to assess/evaluate and comment on the measures to ensure that they are not in any way prevented access to the market. For huge markets where goods are being traded between advanced/developed markets, any measures in development could bear out in the millions of dollars if the country suddenly found itself out of a market.
